Everyone is encouraged to stay up to date and receive all recommended COVID-19 vaccine doses, including any booster dose(s), as soon as they are eligible.
Rollout of COVID-19 vaccines in TBDHU district communities continues to align with the plan for Thunder Bay and surrounding areas. TBDHU is working with district partners, including Family Health Teams (FHT), Community Health Centres (CHC) and First Nation partners, who are responsible for administering the vaccines to all community members.
If you are a member of a First Nation community in the Thunder Bay District, please check with your community’s leadership or health care centre for vaccination opportunities.

Individuals needing accommodations, please contact your local Branch office to discuss.
Individuals who would benefit from a calmer and quieter clinic setting are able to make arrangements with their local branch office to receive their vaccine outside of a community clinic. This is suitable for clients who may experience severe needle anxiety/phobia (not limited to), and/or who may require an appointment longer in duration.
Please contact the health care provider in your community directly to learn more about any upcoming clinic dates, eligibility and to book an appointment.
