The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is seeking a full-time contract (March 3, 2025-October 3, 2025) Northern Fruit & Vegetable Program Enhancement Project Lead. The Northern Fruit & Vegetable Program Enhancement Project Lead partners with 14 First Nation communities in the District of Thunder Bay as well as several organizations to support food sovereignty and self-determination of individual community food plans as well as supporting and fostering regional and national connections.The Northern Fruit & Vegetable Program Enhancement Project Lead focuses on engagement of Indigenous communities, people and organizations to address community level information of food initiatives, broader issues and challenges regarding food delivery and culturally appropriate healthy eating.
