The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is seeking 2 full-time contract (April 7, 2025-March 31, 2026) Public Health Nurses (PHN's) in the Infectious Diseases program.

Reporting to the Manager, Infectious Disease Program, the Public Health Nurse is responsible for providing public health programs and services on health protection, promotion and maintenance, disease and injury prevention and community participation and development. Public Health Nursing practice is based on the model of primary health prevention and is population focused. The Public Health Nurse in the Infectious Disease Program should have experience working with under housed populations and experience working with tuberculosis would be an asset.
