COVID-19 Outbreak Declared Over at Kwae Kii Win Centre

May 6, 2022 - The Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) and Shelter House Thunder Bay announce that a COVID-19 outbreak at Kwae Kii Win Centre, in Thunder Bay is now over.

Prior to the outbreak, significant measures were already in place to reduce the likelihood of transmission of the virus within the facility. Expanded precautions were implemented for the duration of the outbreak.
