**In some instances, individuals who are tested as part of routine surveillance activities can have a “weakly positive” test. The status of these individuals can be considered “resolved” soon after it is reported, meaning that the individual was determined not be an active (infectious) case at the time of the test. This type of result could indicate prior infection with COVID-19. As with every positive test reported to TBDHU, a thorough public health investigation, including repeat testing when warranted, is always done prior to making any status determination.
