The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is seeking a part-time contract 0.8 FTE (July 2024-December 31, 2025), Family Home Visitor.  

The Healthy Babies Healthy Children (HBHC) program Family Home Visitor (FHV) plans and prepares material for developmental education and demonstration in the home working with individuals and families of varied ages, education, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.  The FHV provides information to expectant individuals and caregivers on pregnancy, healthy child development, providing a safe, secure and nurturing environment, behaviour management and living skills in collaboration with HBHC Public Health Nurses to deliver a blended home visiting program.
