The Thunder Bay District Health Unit is seeking a full-time permanent Public Health Nurse in the Street Outreach Program.
Reporting to the Manager of Sexual Health, Street Outreach & Harm Reduction programs, as a Public Health Nurse in the Sexual Health program you will demonstrate clinical and counseling skills to the adolescent population, and provide education to individuals and groups.
Working in a multi-disciplinary environment you will have excellent knowledge of sexual health issues including birth control methods, and sexually transmitted infections. In addition, you will work with community partners to ensure the provision of related health promotion activities.
