June 9, 2021 - Residents of Oliver Paipoonge, Neebing, O’Connor, Conmee, Gillies and nearby unincorporated areas will have the opportunity to get their COVID-19 vaccine at a clinic for rural residents to be held at the Norwest Arena on Thursday, June 17, 2021. Proof of address will be required at the clinic.

June 7, 2021 - Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 10 (ten) new COVID-19 cases in residents in the TBDHU Region. Current active cases is 67.

June 6, 2021 - On Friday June 4, 2021, the Province announced the expanded the accelerated rollout of second doses for COVID-19 vaccines. Due to timing of vaccine supply, TBDHU is issuing the following instructions for individuals 70+ as well as individuals who received their first dose of an mRNA vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) on or before April 18, 2021 to book their appointments for their second doses.
