April 27, 2021 - Today, the Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) launched a pre-registration survey to collect information from businesses and organizations whose staff are considered essential frontline workers who cannot work from home under Phase 2 of Ontario's COVID-19 vaccination plan. This represents a broad list of workers from a range of sectors covering education and childcare workers, emergency and social services, retail, infrastructure workers and industry, among many others.

April 24, 2021 - Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 10 (ten) new COVID-19 cases in residents in the TBDHU Region. Current active cases is 67.

April 23, 2021 - Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 10 (ten) new COVID-19 cases in residents in the TBDHU Region. Current active cases is 61.

April 22, 2021 - Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 11 (eleven) new COVID-19 cases in residents in the TBDHU Region. Current active cases is 59.

April 21, 2021 - The Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is actively investigating an outbreak of COVID-19 associated with Musselwhite Mine located 480 kilometers north of Thunder Bay. This is being done in close collaboration with mine management and Newmont Corporation.
