COVID-19 Outbreak Declared Over at Hogarth Riverview – Birch/Spruce Grove Resident Home Area

March 22, 2021 - The Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) and St. Joseph’s Care Group announce that the outbreak at Hogarth Riverview Manor (HRM), Birch/Spruce Grove Resident Home Area, in Thunder Bay is now over.

Prior to the outbreak, significant measures were already in place at HRM to reduce likelihood of transmission of the virus within the facility including participation in the COVID-19 vaccination program for staff, residents and essential caregiver visitors. Expanded precautions were implemented for the duration of the outbreak.

COVID-19 Outbreak Declared Over at Saint Joseph Catholic School

March 19, 2021 - The Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) and the Superior North Catholic District School Board confirm that the outbreak of COVID-19 at Saint Joseph Catholic School in Geraldton is now over.

The period of heightened surveillance due to the recent cases at Saint Joseph Catholic School is considered over. No additional cases of COVID-19 have been identified and there is no evidence of additional spread within the school setting.

March 19, 2021 - The Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) and Schoolhouse Playcare Centre (Ecole Elsie Macgill School Location) confirm that the outbreak of COVID-19 at the facility in Thunder Bay is now over.

The period of heightened surveillance due to the recent cases at Schoolhouse Playcare Centre (Ecole Elsie Macgill School Location) is considered over. No additional cases of COVID-19 have been identified and there is no evidence of additional spread within the childcare centre setting.

March 19, 2021 - The Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) and Nanabijou Childcare Centre confirm that the outbreak of COVID-19 at the facility in Thunder Bay is now over.

The period of heightened surveillance due to the recent cases at Nanabijou Childcare Centre is considered over. No additional cases of COVID-19 have been identified and there is no evidence of additional spread within the childcare centre setting.
