January 28, 2021 - The Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) and St. Joseph’s Care Group confirm that an outbreak has been declared at Hogarth Riverview Manor (HRM), 6 th Floor (Rose - 6 North and Tulip - 6 South resident home area) in Thunder Bay.

January 28, 2021 - Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 32 (thirty-two) new COVID-19 cases in residents in the TBDHU Region. Current active cases is 170.

January 27, 2021 - Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 12 (twelve) new COVID-19 cases in residents in the TBDHU Region. Current active cases is 146.

January 26, 2021 - Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 11 (eleven) new COVID-19 cases in residents in the TBDHU Region. Current active cases is 150.

January 25, 2021 - The Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) and St. Joseph’s Care Group announce that the outbreak at Hogarth Riverview Manor (HRM), 4 th Floor (Lilac - 4 South and Iris - 4 North resident home area) in Thunder Bay is now over.

Prior to the outbreak, significant measures were already in place at HRM to reduce likelihood of transmission of the virus within the facility. Expanded precautions were implemented for the duration of the outbreak.

January 25, 2021 - Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 5 (five) new COVID-19 cases in residents in the TBDHU Region. Current active cases is 155.

January 24, 2021 - Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 5 (five) new COVID-19 cases in residents in the TBDHU Region. Current active cases is 158.

January 24, 2021 - The Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) and BISNO confirm that an outbreak has been declared at Brain Injury Services of Northern Ontario (BISNO), Cumberland Place in Thunder Bay.

The outbreak declaration is being made as two individuals associated with the facility have recently been confirmed to have COVID-19. BISNO has implemented the necessary precautions to limit spread and TBDHU will continue to monitor and assess the situation.
