Ensure you take precautions to reduce your risk of overdose.

Signs of overdose

• Impaired breathing
• loss of consciousness
• inability to talk
• blue fingernails or lips or
• loud snoring or gurgling

October 12, 2021 - Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 1 (one) new COVID-19 case in residents in the TBDHU Region. Current active cases is 1.

October 4, 2021 - Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 1 (one) new COVID-19 case in residents in the TBDHU Region. Current active cases is 4.

September 29, 2021 - NORTHERN ONTARIO, ON - Northern Ontario Medical Officers of Health continue to put the health and safety of residents first. Effective October 14, operators of facilities in Northern Ontario where indoor sports are played or practiced will ensure additional groups provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19.

September 29, 2021 - Thunder Bay District Health Unit (TBDHU) is reporting 2 (two) new COVID-19 case in residents in the TBDHU Region. Current active cases is 5.

In addition, through data quality checks, one (1) case reported previously by TBDHU was removed from the TBDHU case count.  This will be reflected in the overall case count today.

September 22, 2021 - The Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks has confirmed the presence of blue-green algae in a water sample collected at Trout Lake on August 31 2021. It is important to remember that water should be avoided whenever a blue-green algae bloom is present, and for about 2 weeks after it has dissipated.
