Strong early relationships with parents and caregivers lay the foundation for how children see themselves, handle stress, and connect with others throughout life. The Circle of Security Parenting (COSP) program helps parents and caregivers strengthen these relationships by focusing on understanding and responding to children's emotional needs. When children feel safe, seen, and loved, they build confidence, resilience, and the capacity for healthy relationships.
COSP also encourages parents to reflect on their own childhood experiences to better understand their responses and break unhelpful cycles. It’s not about being perfect, it’s about being present and open to doing things differently. Designed for parents and caregivers of children aged 0–6, the program’s lessons are relevant at any age. COSP runs as a weekly 2-hour session for 7 weeks.
