The Thunder Bay District Health Unit partners with schools and school boards to support healthy learning environments, student well-being, and lifelong healthy habits.
Using a Comprehensive School Health approach, the we work collaboratively with educators, administrators, students, families, and community partners to address local health priorities and support student success.
Our work focuses on a range of topics including mental health and well-being, healthy eating, physical activity, healthy relationships, substance use prevention, sexual health, injury prevention, and school connectedness.
